The 60km Race

This route features a mixture of singletrack, jeeptrack, gravel road and 1,5km of tar and includes parts of the Hopewell Conservation Estate MTB Trails.
There are 3 climbs which are longer than 1km located at the following distances into the race:
8km (1,4km long with 40m of climbing)
14km (4,6km long with 95m of climbing)
20,5km (1,5km long with 60m of climbing)
There are a number of other short climbs in the second half of the route which bring the total elevation gain to +/- 830m.
There are 3 waterpoints which are located at 16km, 35km and 54km

The 30km Race (actual distance approximately 33km)

This route is predominately jeeptrack with some gravel road and singletrack as well as about 1,5km of tar . This is not a technical route on the whole with the exception of a few short, steep uphills and downhills. Inexperienced riders may be more comfortable walking these short sections.
There are 3 main climbs which are located at:
8km (1,4km long with 40m of climbing)
14km (3,4km long with 85m of climbing)
20km (600m long with 50m of climbing)
The rest of the route is reasonably flat bringing the total elevation gain to +/- 330m
There are 2 waterpoints which are located at 16km and 27km

The 11km Route (actual distance just under 10km)

This ride is easy and suitable for novice mountain bikers or kids. It consists of a loop of the Baywest MTB Trails. The entire route is in close proximity to Baywest Mall. The total elevation for this route is only +/- 60m.
There are no waterpoints on the 10km route
